Fascinated by the abyss?

Technical diving (also known as “tech” or “tek” diving) goes beyond the boundaries of traditional scuba diving. Enter into caves and wrecks, or breathe mixed gas and bring you diving skills to new heights.
In the Red Sea, there are some dive sites well worth a visit, but reachable only with a technical diving training.

The fascination with tech diving worldwide has grown by leaps and bounds over the past decade.
To accommodate the increasing demand for this kind of scuba diving in Egypt, the Red Sea dive operators are keeping well abreast of the newest developments and technologies in technical diving.

Technical Diving Courses & Centres

Prestigious technical diving agencies such as TDI (Technical Diving International) and DSAT are present in the Red Sea offering the whole array of technical courses, from basic Enriched Air Nitrox to Trimix courses and more. You can also reach new levels in the areas of wreck and cave diving, for example.

Technical diving courses provide the techniques and procedures necessary for diving beyond recreational dive limits. These are some of the most intensive, yet exhilarating, courses you'll find. Technical diving isn't really for everyone, but if this type of diving appeals to you and you're willing to accept the risks, responsibilities and obligations, you'll find it one of the most rewarding dive experiences you'll ever have.

Diving centres in most Red Sea destinations, as well as some live-aboard operators, provide support and gear for technical diving. Most offer a variety of training courses and instruction on how to use the special techniques and equipment required for safe and fun tech diving.
