DIVE CENTERS
CDWS is kindly urging colleagues that did not apply to renew their MOT license or request an ISO audit to apply to the CDWS immediately, as the deadline to apply is June 30th 2009
SAFARI YACHTS
CDWS is kindly requesting safari yacht owners to apply and comply with all requirements needed in accordance with the ministerial decree 478 year 2006 as the deadline has been extended to August 10th 2009
REMARKS CONCERNING NEW SAFARI YACHTS
1. A three month temporary Technical Validity Certification (TVC) will be granted when all technical requirements are met as a grace period to comply with ISO and international standards for recreational diving provider standards
2. Additional 1 month TVC may be granted following the first three months TVC and can be renewed max. twice.
3. If the ISO and international standards for recreational diving provider standards are not met following these 6 months mentioned here above, no further TVC or MOT license will be granted.
WATERSPORTS
The CDWS is kindly requesting you to apply immediately at the department of diving and new activities at the Ministry of Tourism as well as the CDWS.
The CDWS also urge you to comply with the technical requirements necessary to issue the TVC as it is a prerequisite for the MOT in accordance with the ministerial decree 199 year 2008 regarding water sports centers.
Please note that the Ministry of Tourism has extended the deadline several times and the final date is now set for June 30th, 2009.
NEW DIVING CENTERS (in cities where authorization is granted
1. Kindly present your application to the department of diving and new activities at the Ministry of Tourism as well as the CDWS.
2. New Diving Centers which have met with the technical requirements and have paid the CDWS fees will be granted a temporary TVC valid for 3 months till the ISO standards for recreational diving providers have been applied.
3. If the standards and requirements are not met following the 3 months mentioned here above, no extra period will be granted and no TVC will be renewed.
