In the Red Sea, beginner diving courses are offered by basically all diving schools and are recognised world-wide. An Open Water Course, for example, typically takes four to five days to complete. Just imagine, after the theory and pool sessions, you will be able to be trained as a diver in one of the most outstanding underwater habitats in the world.
Entry level courses are designed to help you learn to dive safely, with a buddy, to a maximum depth of 18 meters (60 feet). Each course consists of diving theory sessions, training dives in a pool or confined body of water, and practice dives in the open sea under the direct supervision of a qualified instructor.
If you want to get a taste of diving before committing yourself to a full course you can try a one-off introductory dive or Discover Scuba Diving experience.
