CDWS can this evening announce that following a series of exploratory dives, conducted today by CDWS members and their staff, is has reported to the Ministry of Tourism that the area appears very calm and very clear and recommended that the restrictions be lifted from the affected area.
As a result the Ministry of Tourism has given permission for all dive sites and beaches in Sharm el Sheikh to be re-opened tomorrow Saturday 4 December and all diving and water sport activities are to resume as normal.
CDWS would like to thank all the vounteers who donated their time, services and boats to conduct these dives today.
