Accreditation for testing stations

Procedures for submitting a visit request and renewing the accreditation certificate for testing and filling stations

The applicant must send the following documents to the Chamber in two PDF files via email:

 ss.audit@cdws.travel for South Sinai Governorate

 rs.audit@cdws.travel for Red Sea Governorate

The first file must include items related to Membership Affairs Management.

The second file must include items related to Quality Assurance Management.

⚠️ Please ensure the name of the testing station/filling station is written in the subject line of the email.

 

Membership Affairs Requirements

Recent commercial registration (not older than 3 months).

Tax card.

Rental contract.

VAT certificate.

In case of a change of Technical Manager:

The appointed Technical Manager must be approved, and the following documents must be submitted:

Copy of national ID card/passport (for foreigners), confirming the applicant is at least 25 years old.

Copy of educational qualification (minimum: secondary level).

Criminal record certificate free of offenses involving dishonor (work permit for foreigners or Form No. 4 for foreigners).

Copy of accredited technical certificate obtained.

 

Quality Assurance Requirements

·      Technical Manager’s certificate for cylinder testing and/or gas mixture preparation.

·      CDWS card of the Technical Manager.

·      Employee list.

·      Name and certificate of the person responsible for gas mixture filling.

·      Sample copy of certificates used (may be blank without client data).

·      Inventory list of equipment and cylinders, including specifications:

Metal type, capacity (liters), serial number, production date, last visual inspection date, last hydrostatic test date, and validity, including medical oxygen cylinders and oxygen cylinders used in gas mixing (if applicable).

 Serial numbers must match those on validity certificates issued by a maintenance station approved by CDWS.

 All cylinders must be marked with the facility name and logo, clearly displayed on the lower third behind the air outlet. See attached suggested templates (Cylinder Filling Station Equipment).

·      Recent air analysis certificate (not older than three months) – (filling station equipment).

Maintenance logbook of the compressors – (filling station equipment).

·      Complete inventory of all equipment at the facility, in line with the requirements of (equipment for Cylinder inspection and Testing Centers).

·      Calibration certificate for hydrostatic testing pressure gauges from an accredited entity in Egypt, or an invoice for new gauge.

 

Response and Visit Scheduling

The CDWS will respond within 7 working days at most. If documents are complete, an email will be sent confirming eligibility to submit the visit request.

The visit request form must be completed, signed, stamped with the facility seal, and resent to the same email, and the Technical Manager will then be contacted to schedule the visit.

If the visit is successfully passed, CDWS will contact the facility’s legal representative or Technical Manager within 3 working days to arrange payment of service fees and schedule delivery of the accreditation certificate.
