Announcement #10 of 2020
Dear CDWS members,
In addition to the previously announced support measures for the CDWS members to overcome the negative impact of the COVID-19 outbreak on the tourism sector, and adding to the efforts of the Minister of Tourism and Antiquities and the management of the Egyptian Tourism Federation (ETF) to present to the Egyptian government the support of the facilities and the employees in coordination with the emergency fund.
The emergency fund has decided the following:
First: Allowing the establishments that did not apply for the first installment to apply as follows:
• Sending the below request not later than Tuesday the 29th of September 2020, noting that the requests that are not complete or submitted after this date shall not be taken into consideration and specified in the Subject that this is a First Instalment Request:

Including
the attached request with the establishment’s stamp and the establishment legal name as per the commercial registration, colored scanned copy in a JPG format not a PDF.
• A bank statement with your facility’s name, account number and the branch, scanned copy in a JPG format not a PDF to be able to add the subsidy determined in this account. Note that the name of the establishment in which the account is opened in the bank must be identical to the name registered in the social insurance office.
Note: please ensure that the email includes the three previously mentioned documents.
Second: Accepting requests for the second instalments by the facilities that have already submitted for the first instalment.
• Sending the below request not later than Tuesday the 29th of September 2020, noting that the requests that are not complete or submitted after this date shall not be taken into consideration by sending the requests in the form of a JPG colored image by e-mail and to clarify in the subject that this is a Second Instalment Request.
Note that it is possible to accept applications from establishments that applied for loans from banks and did not obtain it until the date of submitting the application to the Fund. (within the initiative of the Central Bank and Ministry of Finance)
The attached request (on the head letter of the facility, signed by the legal representative and stamped by the facility) in a JPG not a PDF format.
Note: the ETF is working with the emergency fund to remove any obstacles or challenges facing the facilities that applied for and didn’t receive the first installment yet.
