Dear CDWS members,
The Egyptian government has issued a low no. 107 of 2020 (attached), stating that 1% of the net salary of the employees and 5% of the net pension entitlement should be withheld on monthly basis as a Symbiotic contribution to face the economic repercussions due to the spread of pandemics and natural disasters, the law was put on force as of the 14th of August 2020.
Therefore, the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities and the Egyptian Tourism Federation (ETF), in collaboration with the tourist chambers had submitted a request to the prime minister to postpone the payment of the 1% of the contribution for (tourist companies, hotel establishments, and tourist establishments) which was approved by the prime minister till the 31st of October 2021.
Accordingly, and in accordance with the attached letter, all the CDWS members must start paying the contribution as of the 31st of October 2021, by paying the deductions percentages which are stated in the law to the designated account for that purpose under the “Pandemics and Natural Disasters Relief Account”.
You are kindly requested to fill out the attached document, stating the final total statement of all the amounts, including the date of the commencement of the deduction in accordance with the previously mentioned act, and the bank name where the deposit was made.
