The CDWS is pleased to sign a Memorandum of Understanding with the Green Hurghada Project. As part of the CDWS efforts to protect the natural resources and the marine environment, and its desire to enhance joint efforts to implement the best sustainable environmental practices.
This joint cooperation aims to spread awareness activities, develop international practices to promote sustainable tourism, and exchange information and data between the two parties.
Specifically, it focuses on promoting and implementing the internationally recognized Green Fins program in the city of Hurghada.
This will be achieved by:
• The Green Hurghada Project is contributing to the cost of Green Fins inspections for thirty facilities in Hurghada to facilitate their joining the program, based on application priority (first-come, first-served).
• Providing technical support to facilities wishing to join the Green Fins program.
• Organizing workshops and training courses to raise awareness about the program.
Consequently, the CDWS urges interested members (in Hurghada only) who wish to join the program under the auspices of the Green Hurghada Project to apply by following the steps mentioned in the following link:
