Dear CDWS members,
The Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities and the CDWS are coordinating with the relevant authorities on permitting the diving and water sports operators to carry on with the activities during the COP 27 conference in Sharm El Sheikh, after evaluating the circumstances and the security measures with the Egyptian Armed forces authority and the Ministry of defense. The relevant authorities had approved allowing the diving and water sports activities to run normally in the city during the conference, except for the days dedicated to the presidential receptions.
The activities shall carry on in compliance with a few rules and regulations, the most important of which are:
- The boats carrying out the activities should direct towards the south (In the direction of Ras Mohamed National park).
Accordingly, kindly proceed to receive bookings and arrange the activities as mentioned previously, we will update you with more instructions and regulations in this regard once available.
