  Dear CDWS members,
The Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities in collaboration with the CDWS are always aiming to promote safe diving and water sports activities and always puts the safety of the tourists as a first priority.
As per the attached letter, and reference to the ministerial decree no. 444 of 2011 and its amendments in decree 291 of 2021, regarding the license regulations of the diving and water sports centers and the safari boats.
Kindly be informed that all water sports centers licensed for one or more of the following activities are required not to carry out the activities from a daily boat, nor outside the determined zone permitted on the license, those include:
-      Kitesurfing.
-      Windsurfing.
-      All kinds of towing activities.
-      All kinds of water skiing and wakeboard activities. 
-      All kinds of manual or electric pedal activities.
-      All kinds of Kayak activities.
“The above-mentioned activities should be implemented only on the center’s beach premises which are listed on the license” that was proved to be adequate for the activity based on the initial inspection of the center prior to issuing the license.
Only the safari boats that are licensed to carry out kitesurfing activities are allowed to.
