Part-time job vacancy for environmental awareness trainers for diving and water sports centers

Title:

About the program:

An environmental awareness training program to raise awareness on the impact of the tourism sector on the environment, especially the Red Sea. 

Compulsory environmental awareness course for staff working in diving and snorkeling centers and boat crews, Evening Sessions, the program has two modules. 

  • The first module is on plastic pollution awareness 
  • The second is on environmentally awareness practices for diving, snorkeling, and daily boats. 

Location: 

  • We are hiring for South Sinai and Red Sea Governates
  • Should be a resident of one of the following cities: Sharm EL Sheikh / Dahab / Hurghada / Marsa Alam
  • Willingness to travel within the governorate 

Job description/ Responsibilities: 

  • You should be able to deliver the training in Arabic language; English is also required
  • Able to deliver the training in an engaging and informative approach
  • Consult with other trainers, managers, and leadership
  • Review the performance and learning of the attendees 
  • Testing and quizzing to evaluate the learning progress
  • Track and compile data, submit regular and analytic reports.

Job requirements: 

  • Preferably 7 years of experience (or more) as a scuba-dive instructor
  • Must have a valid ID card with the Chamber of Diving and Water Sports (CDWS)
  • With no previous record of registered violations or penalties with the Chamber of Diving and Water Sports
  • Succeeded the CDWS Technical Manager Training course is a plus
  • Arabic and English languages are a must
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Reporting and providing coaching and guidance 
  • Strong computer skills
  • General awareness of the Red Sea environmental issues, challenges, and threats is a must 
  • Applicants must have their own personal reliable transportation
