Dear Colleagues, CDWS members,
CDWS would like to thank the following members
who participated in "El Fanous Beach" cleanup that took place on Thursday 14/4/2016:
- Als Brother
Water Sports Center.
- James and Mac
Diving Center.
- Blue Water
Diving Center.
- Morning Star
Water Sports Center.
Also participated in the event 75 students from Hurghada
schools. The event started at 8:30 am, the boats sailed to "Shaab El
Fanous", then 2 R.I.B. transported them to the beach.
At the beginning of the event, a surprise was made by the Red
Sea national parks, who released a sea turtle into the sea, which was held
captive at a restaurant in Cairo.
During the clean up, the volunteers collected 100 big bags of
garbage and waste from the beach. All garbage was transported by boats to the
harbor for the proper disposal.
We would like to thank all the participants for their efforts.
Looking forward for more participants in the future since
"El Fanous Beach" needs more cleanup campaigns.
